Welcome to the Rhode Island Jewish Historical Association Website!
There are lots of changes happening for the RI Jewish Historical Association in 2018, make sure to stay up-to-date with all of them by reading our quarterly newsletters, reading our articles and notices published in the Jewish Voice, and of course look for the RIJHA Notes which will arrive in February!
Check out ourEvents Page to learn about our upcoming Open House to celebrate our successful Capital Campaign and office and archive move.
We have officially moved and settled into our permanent home in the Dwares JCC in Providence, RI.
Please feel free to stop in and say hello, or to peek at the wonderful array of Jewish artifacts we have on display!
January 2018 Newsletter
The first quarterly newsletter of 2018 will be sent out shortly after our Open House – be sure to check it out for many important updates!
Beginning the week of January 22nd, we will not be taking research requests while our Executive Director and Researcher Kate-Lynne Laroche is out on maternity leave.
We will resume accepting research requests in the beginning of May 2018. We apologize for any inconvenience.
