EDUCATION

Our emphasis is on education for all ages:

• Adults are in invited to do research at our facility in the Jewish Community
  Center, in Providence.
  
  
• A joint program with Harry Elkin Midrasha allowed students to work with some
  artifacts and original source material to learn about the history of Jews in
  Rhode Island.
  
  
• At present, college students can submit articles about Jews in Rhode Island for
  and Essay contest; the winning article might be published in the Notes and
  monetary award is given.
  
  
• In the future, there will be other opportunities for further essay contests for
  other age groups.
  
  
• Educational Outreach: in order to help teachers around the state gain
  information about the Jews in Rhode Island, we offer our support: research,
  artifacts and other aids. Interested teachers can contact us for further information about course help.
